Call to Mind

Privacy policy

How Call to Mind handles personal and health information in line with Australian privacy requirements.

Last updated 26 August 2026

1. Collection of personal and health information

We collect information reasonably necessary to coordinate and deliver mental health services. This may include identity and contact details, referral information, health history, Medicare information and communications with your treating team.

Where practical, we explain why information is needed, how it will be used and what may happen if it is not provided.

2. Use and disclosure

Information is used to assess referrals, coordinate appointments, support clinical care, process payments and rebates, meet legal obligations and improve service quality.

Health information is only shared with authorised people and organisations where the person has consented or where Australian law permits or requires the disclosure.

3. Data security and storage

Reasonable technical and organisational safeguards are used to protect personal and health information against misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.

Clinical information should only be submitted through an approved secure referral or patient channel. The preview forms in this converted application do not transmit or store information.

4. Access, correction and privacy enquiries

You may ask to access or correct personal information we hold about you, subject to the Privacy Act 1988 and applicable health-records legislation.

For a privacy enquiry, contact the Call to Mind Privacy Officer at privacy@health-bright.com.au.

5. Privacy complaints

If you believe your privacy has not been respected, send your complaint to the Call to Mind Privacy Officer at privacy@health-bright.com.au. Call to Mind will investigate and respond as quickly as possible, generally within 30 days of receiving the complaint.

If you are not satisfied with the response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

6. Overseas disclosure

Call to Mind may disclose personal and health information to overseas entities for data entry, service-request resolution, appointment management and Medicare claims or billing, as described in the current Call to Mind privacy policy.

The current policy does not identify specific recipient countries. Contact the Call to Mind Privacy Officer at privacy@health-bright.com.au for details about overseas disclosure.
